The Sanskrit text of the Sri Hari-bhakti-vilasa, which was composed by Srila Sanatana Gosvami (as instructed by Lord Gaurahari) in order to arrange for the observance of vows and rituals for those who desire to obtain the ultimate goal of life, krishna-prema. The Hari-bhakti-vilasa describes in twenty chapters the core aspects of the Vaishnava lifestyle and philosophy.

एकादशस्कन्धे च तत्रैव ।
न साधयति मां योगो न साङ्ख्यं धर्म उद्धव ।
न स्वाध्यायस् तपस् त्यागो यथा भक्तिर् ममोर्जिता ॥ ६०१ ॥

ekādaśaskandhe ca tatraiva |
na sādhayati māṃ yogo na sāṅkhyaṃ dharma uddhava |
na svādhyāyas tapas tyāgo yathā bhaktir mamorjitā || 601 ||
