The Sanskrit text of the Sri Hari-bhakti-vilasa, which was composed by Srila Sanatana Gosvami (as instructed by Lord Gaurahari) in order to arrange for the observance of vows and rituals for those who desire to obtain the ultimate goal of life, krishna-prema. The Hari-bhakti-vilasa describes in twenty chapters the core aspects of the Vaishnava lifestyle and philosophy.

एकादशस्कन्धे च श्रीभगवद्उद्धवसंवादे ।
यथाग्निना हेममलं जहाति ध्मातं पुनः स्वं भजते च रूपम् ।
आत्मा च कर्मानुशयं विधूय मद्भक्तियोगेन भजत्य् अथो माम् ॥ ५९७ ॥

ekādaśaskandhe ca śrībhagavaduddhavasaṃvāde |
yathāgninā hemamalaṃ jahāti dhmātaṃ punaḥ svaṃ bhajate ca rūpam |
ātmā ca karmānuśayaṃ vidhūya madbhaktiyogena bhajaty atho mām || 597 ||
