मत्तेभ-कर्ण-प्रहिता
मद-गन्धेन विह्वला
अलङ्करोति तद्-द्वरं
भ्रमद्-भृङ्गावली भृशम्

mattebha-karṇa-prahitā
mada-gandhena vihvalā
alaṅkaroti tad-dvaraṃ
bhramad-bhṛṅgāvalī bhṛśam

mattamaddened; ibhaelephant; karṇaears; prahitā—sent; mada-gandhena—with the sweet freagtance; vihvalā—agitated; alaṅkaroti—decorates; tad-dvaram—his door; bhramad-bhṛṅgāvalī—many flying bees; bhṛśam—greatly.

English translation of verse 8.13.138:

Pushed by an elephant's ear, and maddened by the sweet fragrance they find there, a host of bees decorates his door.
