The Garga-samhita Verse 8.13.126, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 8 of Chapter 13 (A Thousand Names of Lord Balarama) of Canto 8 (balabhadra-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

अग्रगो वीर-सम्मार्दो
मर्दलो रण-दुर्मदह्
भटह् प्रतिभटह् प्रोच्यो
बाण-वर्षीषुतोयदह्

agrago vīra-sammārdo
mardalo raṇa-durmadah
bhaṭah pratibhaṭah procyo
bāṇa-varṣīṣutoyadah

He is the first before all others (agraga). He crushes the enemy warriors in battle (vīra-sammārda, mardala, raṇa-durmada, bhaṭa, and pratibhaṭa). He is glorious (procya). He rains a shower of arrows on the enemy (bāṇa-varṣī and iṣu-toyada).
