The Garga-samhita Verse 8.13.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 8 of Chapter 13 (A Thousand Names of Lord Balarama) of Canto 8 (balabhadra-khanda).

कालिन्दी-भेदनो वीरो
बलह् प्रबलह् ऊर्ध्वगह्
वासुदेव-कलानन्तह्
सहस्र-वदनह् स्वराट्

kālindī-bhedano vīro
balah prabalah ūrdhvagah
vāsudeva-kalānantah
sahasra-vadanah svarāṭ

He divided the Yamunā (kālindī-bhedana). He is a heroic (vīra), powerful (bala, and prabala), exalted (ūrdhvaga), a plenary expansion of Lord Kṛṣṇa (vāsudeva-kalā), and limitless (ananta), has a thousand heads (sahasra-vadana), and is independent (svarāṭ).
