दुर्योधन उवाच
बलभद्रस्य देवस्य
प्राड्विपाक महा-मुने
नाम्नां सहस्रं मे ब्रूहि
गुह्यं देव-गणैर् अपि
duryodhana uvāca
balabhadrasya devasya
prāḍvipāka mahā-mune
nāmnāṃ sahasraṃ me brūhi
guhyaṃ deva-gaṇair api
duryodhana uvāca—Duryodhana said; balabhadrasya—of Lord Balarāma; devasya—Lord; prāḍvipāka—O Pradvipaka; mahā—great; mune—sage; nāmnām—of the names; sahasram—thousand; me—to me; brūhi—please tell; guhyam—secret; deva-gaṇaih—by the demigods; api—even.
English translation of verse 8.13.1:
Duryodhana said: O great sage Prāḍvipāka, please tell me the thousand names of Lord Balarāma, names kept secret from even the demigods.
