The Garga-samhita Verse 8.10.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 8 of Chapter 10 (The Paddhati and Patala of Lord Balarama) of Canto 8 (balabhadra-khanda).

श्री-प्राड्विपाक उवाच
बलस्य पटलं गुह्यं
विद्धि सिद्धि-प्रदायकम्
एकान्ते ब्रह्मणा दत्तं
नारदाय महात्मने

śrī-prāḍvipāka uvāca
balasya paṭalaṃ guhyaṃ
viddhi siddhi-pradāyakam
ekānte brahmaṇā dattaṃ
nāradāya mahātmane

śrī-prāḍvipāka uvāca—Śrī Prāḍvipāka Muni said; balasya—of Lord Balarāma; paṭalam—the paṭala; guhyam—secret; viddhi—please know; siddhiperfection; pradāyakam—giving; ekānte—at one place; brahmaṇā—by Lord Brahmā; dattam—given; nāradāya—to nārada; mahātmane—the great soul.

English translation of verse 8.10.16:

Śrī Prāḍvipāka Muni said: Now please understand Lord Balarāma's paṭala, which brings perfection, and which the demigod Brahmā gave to Nārada Muni.
