Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:
ब्राह्मे मुहूर्ते चोत्थाय
राम-कृष्णेति च ब्रुवन्
नत्वा गुरुं भुवं चैव
ततो भूम्यां पदं न्यसेत्
brāhme muhūrte cotthāya
rāma-kṛṣṇeti ca bruvan
natvā guruṃ bhuvaṃ caiva
tato bhūmyāṃ padaṃ nyaset
brāhme muhūrte—at brahma-muhurta; ca—and; utthāya—rising; rāma-kṛṣṇa—Rāma Kṛṣṇa; iti—thus; ca—and; bruvan—saying; natvā—bowing; gurum—to the guru; bhuvam—the world; ca—and; eva—indeed; tatah—then; bhūmyām—on the ground; padam—foot; nyaset—should place.
English translation of verse 8.10.7:
One should rise at brāhma-muhūrta, chant the holy names of Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Balarāma, and bow down before one's guru. Only then should one place his feet on the ground.
