The Garga-samhita Verse 8.10.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 8 of Chapter 10 (The Paddhati and Patala of Lord Balarama) of Canto 8 (balabhadra-khanda).

श्री-प्राड्विपाक उवाच
राम-मार्गस्य नियमं
शृणु पार्थिव-सत्तम
येन प्रसन्नो भवति
बलभद्रो महा-प्रभुह्

śrī-prāḍvipāka uvāca
rāma-mārgasya niyamaṃ
śṛṇu pārthiva-sattama
yena prasanno bhavati
balabhadro mahā-prabhuh

śrī-prāḍvipāka uvāca—Śrī Prāḍvipāka Muni said; rāma-mārgasya—of the path to Lord Balarāma; niyamam—the restrictions; śṛṇu—please hear; pārthiva-sattamaO best of kings; yena—by which; prasannah—pleased; bhavatiis; balabhadrah—Lord Balarāma; mahā-prabhuh—the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

English translation of verse 8.10.4:

Śrī Prāḍvipāka Muni said: O best of kings, please hear the regulative principles of the path to Lord Balarāma. When one follows these principles Lord Balarāma, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, becomes pleased with him.
