श्री-नारद उवाच
तृतीयस्यापि दुर्गस्य
पूर्व-द्वारे महा-बलः
रक्शत्य् अहर्-निशं राजन्
हनुमान् अञ्जनी-सुतः
śrī-nārada uvāca
tṛtīyasyāpi durgasya
pūrva-dvāre mahā-balaḥ
rakśaty ahar-niśaṃ rājan
hanumān añjanī-sutaḥ
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; tṛtīyasya—of the third; api—also; durgasya—fort; pūrva-dvāre—at the eastern gate; mahā-balaḥ—very powerful; rakśaty—protects; ahar-niśam—day and night; rājan—O king; hanumān— hanumān; añjanī-sutaḥ—the son of Añanī.
English translation of verse 6.21.1:
Śrī Nārada said: Day and night Añanī's very powerful son Hanumān guards the eastern gate ofthe third fortress.
