The Garga-samhita Verse 6.19.31, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 19 (In the First Fortress of Dvaraka, the Glories of Lila-sarovara, Hari-mandira, Jnana-tirtha, Krishna-kunda, Balabhadra-sarah, Ganesha-tirtha, Dana-sthala, and Maya-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तस्मात् कोटि-गुणं पुण्यं
दान-तीर्थे विदेह-राट्
मासम् एकं च यत् स्नानं
दानं तीर्थे करोति हि

tasmāt koṭi-guṇaṃ puṇyaṃ
dāna-tīrthe videha-rāṭ
māsam ekaṃ ca yat snānaṃ
dānaṃ tīrthe karoti hi

tasmāt—than this; koṭi-guṇam—ten million times greater; puṇyam—piety; dāna- tīrthe—at Dāna-tīrtha; videha-rāṭ—O king of Videha; māsam—month; ekam—one; ca—and; yat—which; snānam—bath; dānamcharity; tīrthe—at the holy place; karotigives; hi—indeed.

English translation of verse 6.19.31:

O king of Videha, a person who for one month bathes and gives charity at Dāna-tīrtha attains a pious reuslt ten million times greater than that.
