यत्र यत्र च या लीला
तत्र तत्रैव शोभते
यत्र वृन्दावनं नास्ति
तत्र मे न मनः-सुखम्
yatra yatra ca yā līlā
tatra tatraiva śobhate
yatra vṛndāvanaṃ nāsti
tatra me na manaḥ-sukham
yatra yatra—wherever; ca—and; yā—which; līlā—pastimes; tatra tatra—there; eva—indeed; śobhate—is beautiful; yatra—where; vṛndāvanam—Vṛndāvana; na—not; asti—is; tatra—there; me—of Me; na—not; manaḥ-sukham—tha happiness of the heart.
English translation of verse 6.18.40:
My heart cannot be happy where there is no Vṛndāvana forest and where these pastimes are not present.
