The Garga-samhita Verse 6.18.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 18 (In the Course of Describing the Glories of Siddhashrama, a Description of the Rasa-dance Festival) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-राधोवाच
ननु रासः परं चात्र
बहु-स्त्री-गण-सङ्कुलः
पूर्व-रास-समो न स्याद्
यस् तु वृन्दावने ऽभवत्

śrī-rādhovāca
nanu rāsaḥ paraṃ cātra
bahu-strī-gaṇa-saṅkulaḥ
pūrva-rāsa-samo na syād
yas tu vṛndāvane 'bhavat

śrī-rādhā uvāca—Śrī Rādhā said; nanu—indeed; rāsaḥrasa dance; param—then; ca—and; atra—here; bahu-strī-gaṇa-saṅkulaḥ—with very many girls; pūrva-rāsa-samaḥ—equal to the previous rasa dance; na—not; syāt—is; yaḥ—which; tu—indeed; vṛndāvane—in Vṛndāvana; abhavat—was.

English translation of verse 6.18.27:

Śrī Rādhā said: Many girls came to this rāsa dance. Still, it is not the equal of the rāsa dance in Vṛndāvana.
