The Garga-samhita Verse 6.18.24, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 18 (In the Course of Describing the Glories of Siddhashrama, a Description of the Rasa-dance Festival) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

पत्न्यः षोडश-साहस्रं
सखीभिः सहिता वयम्
सखी-कोटि-युताश् चात्र
हृष्ट-पट्ट-महा-स्त्रियः वृन्दावने ऽपि नैतादृग् भूतो वा माधवेश्वर

patnyaḥ ṣoḍaśa-sāhasraṃ
sakhībhiḥ sahitā vayam
sakhī-koṭi-yutāś cātra
hṛṣṭa-paṭṭa-mahā-striyaḥ vṛndāvane 'pi naitādṛg bhūto vā mādhaveśvara

patnyaḥ—the queens; ṣoḍaśa-sāhasram—sixteen thousand; sakhībhiḥ—the gopīs; sahitāwith; vayam—we; sakhī-koṭi-yutāḥ—many millions of gopīs; ca—and; atra—here; hṛṣṭajubilant; paṭṭa-mahā-striyaḥ—the noble queens; vṛndāvane—in Vṛndāvana; api—even; na—not; etādṛk—like this; bhūtaḥ—was; vā—or; mādhavaO Kṛṣṇa; īśvaraO Lord.

English translation of verse 6.18.24:

We sixteen thousand queens are here with many millions of gopīs. O Kṛṣṇa, O master, even in Vṛndāvana there was never a rāsa dance like this.
