श्री-नारद उवाच
इति श्रुत्वा परं भैष्मी
सपत्नीभिः समन्विता
नित्वा दुग्धं तत्-समीपं
प्रययौ परमादरात्

śrī-nārada uvāca
iti śrutvā paraṃ bhaiṣmī
sapatnībhiḥ samanvitā
nitvā dugdhaṃ tat-samīpaṃ
prayayau paramādarāt

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; iti—thus; śrutvāhearing; param—then; bhaiṣmī—Rukminī; sapatnībhiḥ—with her co-wives; samanvitā—with; nitvā—taking; dugdham—milk; tat-samīpam—to Her; prayayau—went; paramādarāt—with great respect.

English translation of verse 6.17.28:

Śrī Nārada said: After hearing these words, Rukmiṇī, accompanied by her co-wives, brought a cup of milk to Śrī Rādhā.
