गोपीनां शत-यूथं च
सम्पूज्य च पृथक् पृथक्
वार्तालापान् बहु-विधान्
कृत्वा कृष्ण-प्रियास् ततः स्वापयित्वाथ तां जग्मुः स्वं स्वं वै शिबिरं
मुदा
gopīnāṃ śata-yūthaṃ ca
sampūjya ca pṛthak pṛthak
vārtālāpān bahu-vidhān
kṛtvā kṛṣṇa-priyās tataḥ svāpayitvātha tāṃ jagmuḥ svaṃ svaṃ vai śibiraṃ
mudā
gopīnām—of the gopīs; śata-yūtham—the hundred groups; ca—and; sampūjya—worshiping; ca—and; pṛthak—one; pṛthak—by one; vārtālāpān—conversations; bahu-vidhān—many kinds; kṛtvā—doing; kṛṣṇa-priyāḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇa's dear queens; tataḥ—then; svāpayitvā—putting to sleep; atha-then; tām—to her; jagmuḥ—went; svam—own; svam—own; vai—indeed; śibiram—palanquin; mudā—happily.
English translation of verse 6.17.23:
Then Rukmiṇī and her co-wives worshiped the hundred groups of gopīs one by one. After talking of many things, Lord Kṛṣṇa's queens saw that each gopī comfortably went to sleep. Then the queens happily returned to their own palanquins.
