The Garga-samhita Verse 6.16.42, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. तत्-तेजसा हत-रुचः
सूर्यात् तारा-गणा यथा
गत-रूपाभिमानास् ता
ऊचुः सर्वाः परस्परम्

tat-tejasā hata-rucaḥ
sūryāt tārā-gaṇā yathā
gata-rūpābhimānās tā
ūcuḥ sarvāḥ parasparam

tat-tejasā—by Her glory; hata-rucaḥtheir glory was eclipsed; sūryāt—from the sun; tārā-gaṇāthe stars; yathā—as; gatagone; rūpaof the beauty; abhimānāḥ—pride; tāḥ—they; ūcuḥ—said; sarvāḥall; parasparam—among themselves.

English translation of verse 6.16.42:

As the sun makes the many stars seem insignificant so Śrī Rādhā's beauty made the queens' beauty seem insignifant. Their pride in their own beauty now crushed, the queens said among themselves:
