The Garga-samhita Verses 6.15.32-33, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
तदा यमाज्ञया दूता
नित्वा तं पाप-रूपिणम्
सहस्र-योजनायामे
तप्त-तैले महा-खले
स्फुरद् अत्य्-उच्छलत्-फेने
कुम्भीपाके न्यपातयन्
प्रलयाग्नि-समो वह्निः
सद्यः शीतलतां गतः
śrī-nārada uvāca
tadā yamājñayā dūtā
nitvā taṃ pāpa-rūpiṇam
sahasra-yojanāyāme
tapta-taile mahā-khale
sphurad aty-ucchalat-phene
kumbhīpāke nyapātayan
pralayāgni-samo vahniḥ
sadyaḥ śītalatāṃ gataḥ
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; tadā—then; yama—of Yamarāja; ājñayā—by the order; dūtā—his messengers; nitvā—taking; tam—him; pāpa-rūpiṇam—sinner; sahasra-yojanāyāme—eight thousand miles across; tapta—boiling; taile—oil; mahā-khale—very terrible; sphurat—manifested; aty-ucchalat-phene—bubbling; kumbhīpāke—in Kumbhipaka; nyapātayan—thrown; pralaya—of cosmic devastation; agni—the fire; samaḥ—equal; vahniḥ—fire; sadyaḥ—at once; śītalatām—coldness; gataḥ—attained.
English translation of verses 6.15.32-33:
Śrī Nārada said: Then, by Yamarāja's order, the Yamadūtas took that sinner and threw him into a terrible, eight-thousand mile wide cauldron of bubbling boiling oil in the hell of Kumbhīpāka. The moment that sinner came to it, the boiling oil, which was as hot as the great fires at the time of cosmic devastation, suddenly became cool.
