सिन्धु-देशस्य राजाभूद्
दीर्घबाहुर् इति श्रुतः
अन्याय-वर्ती दुष्टात्मा
वेश्या-सङ्ग-रतः सदा
sindhu-deśasya rājābhūd
dīrghabāhur iti śrutaḥ
anyāya-vartī duṣṭātmā
veśyā-saṅga-rataḥ sadā
sindhu-deśasya—of Sindhu-deśa; rājā—a king; abhūt—was; dīrghabāhuḥ—Dīrghabāhur; iti—thus; śrutaḥ—heard; anyāya—evil; vartī—doing; duṣṭātmā—wicked; veśyā-saṅga-rataḥ—attached to prostitutes; sadā—always.
English translation of verse 6.15.23:
In Sindhu-deśa there was a king named Dīrghabāhu. He was cruel and sinful and he was addicted to visiting prostitutes.
