गोपी-चन्दन-लिप्ताङ्गं
यदि पाप-शतैर् युतम्
तं नेतुं न यमः शक्तो
यम-दूताः कुतः पुनः
gopī-candana-liptāṅgaṃ
yadi pāpa-śatair yutam
taṃ netuṃ na yamaḥ śakto
yama-dūtāḥ kutaḥ punaḥ
gopī-candana-liptāṅgam—limbs marked with gopī-candana; yadi—if; pāpa- śataiḥ—with a hundred sins; yutam—endowed; tam—him; netum—ot lead; na—not; yamaḥ—Yamarāja; śaktaḥ—is able; yama-dūtāḥ—the messengers of Yamarāja; kutaḥ—how?; punaḥ—again.
English translation of verse 6.15.21:
Even if in the past he has committed hundreds of sins, if a person wears gopī-candana tilaka, then Yamarāja cannot take him away. How, then, can Yamarāja's messengers touch him?
