गोप्य्-अङ्गराग-सम्भूतं
गोपी-चन्दानाम् उत्तमम्
गोपी-चन्दन-लिप्ताङ्गो
गङ्गा-स्नान-फलं लभेत्
gopy-aṅgarāga-sambhūtaṃ
gopī-candānām uttamam
gopī-candana-liptāṅgo
gaṅgā-snāna-phalaṃ labhet
gopy—of the gopīs; aṅgarāga—from the cosmetics; sambhūtam—manifested; gopī-candānām—gopī-candana; uttamam—supreme; gopī-candana—of gopī-candana; lipta—anointed; aṅgaḥ—limbs; gaṅgā-snāna-phalam—the result of bathing in the Gaṅgā; labhet—one attains.
English translation of verse 6.15.16:
In Gopī-bhūmi gopī-candana was manifested from the gopīs' cosmetics. A person who marks his limbs with gopī-candana tilaka attains the result of bathing in the Gaṅgā.
