The Garga-samhita Verse 6.15.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 15 (The Glories of Nriga-kupa and Gopi-bhumi) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

यस्य श्रवण-मात्रेण
कर्म-बन्धात् प्रमुच्यते
गोपीनां यत्र वासो ऽभूत्
तेन गोपी-भुवः स्मृतः

yasya śravaṇa-mātreṇa
karma-bandhāt pramucyate
gopīnāṃ yatra vāso 'bhūt
tena gopī-bhuvaḥ smṛtaḥ

yasya—of which; śravaṇa-mātreṇa—simply by hearing; karma-bandhāt—from the bonds of karma; pramucyate—is released; gopīnām—of the gopīs; yatrawhere; vāsaḥ—residence; abhūtdid; tena—by that; gopī-bhuvaḥ—the land of the gopīs; smṛtaḥ—is considered.

English translation of verse 6.15.15:

Simply by hearing about Gopī-bhūmi, which is so named because the gopīs resided there, one become free from the bondage of karma.
