The Garga-samhita Verse 6.15.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 15 (The Glories of Nriga-kupa and Gopi-bhumi) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:
नृगो ऽपि दानिनां श्रेष्ठः
पतितो ऽथ चतुर्-युगम्
श्री-कृष्णेन तद्-उद्धारः
कृतो वै पश्यतां सताम्
nṛgo 'pi dānināṃ śreṣṭhaḥ
patito 'tha catur-yugam
śrī-kṛṣṇena tad-uddhāraḥ
kṛto vai paśyatāṃ satām
nṛgaḥ—Nṛga; api—also; dāninām—of philanthropists; śreṣṭhaḥ—the best; patitaḥ—fallen; atha—then; catur-yugam—for four yugas; śrī-kṛṣṇena—by Lord Kṛṣṇa; tad-uddhāraḥ—deliverance; kṛtaḥ—done; vai—indeed; paśyatām—looking on; satām—the saintly devotees.
English translation of verse 6.15.11:
In this way King Nṛga, who had been the best of charitable men, fell into a wretched condition for four yugas. Finally, as the saintly devotees looked on, he was delivered by Lord Kṛṣṇa.
