विन्ध्यादयश् च ते सर्वे
पाद-घातेन मार्दिताः
भय-भीता रणं त्यक्त्वा
दुद्रुवुस् ते दिशो दश
vindhyādayaś ca te sarve
pāda-ghātena mārditāḥ
bhaya-bhītā raṇaṃ tyaktvā
dudruvus te diśo daśa
vindhyādayaḥ—headed by Mount Vindhyā; ca—andc; te—they; sarve—all; pāda-ghātena—by the kicks; mārditāḥ—crushed; bhaya-bhītā—terrified; raṇam— the battlefield; tyaktvā—fled; dudruvuḥ—ran; te—they; diśaḥ—the directions; daśa—ten.
English translation of verse 6.14.34:
Wounded by King Raivata's ferocious kicking, Mount Vindhyā and all the other terrified mountains fled in the ten directions.
