निःशस्त्रास् ते यदा शैलाः
कुर्वन्तः प्रध्वनिं मुहुः
गच्छन्तं स-गिरिं जघ्नुर्
मुश्टिभिर् जानुभिः पथि
niḥśastrās te yadā śailāḥ
kurvantaḥ pradhvaniṃ muhuḥ
gacchantaṃ sa-giriṃ jaghnur
muśṭibhir jānubhiḥ pathi
niḥśastrāḥ—weaponless; te—they; yadā—when; śailāḥ—the mountains; kurvantaḥ—doing; pradhvanim—sound; muhuḥ—again and again; gacchantam— going; sa-girim—with the mountain; jaghnuḥ—hit; muśṭibhiḥ—with fists; jānubhiḥ—with knees; pathi—on the path.
English translation of verse 6.14.27:
Now weaponless, the mountains screamed and wailed again and again. As King Raivata was taking the young mountain, the mountains hit them again and again with their fists and knees.
