The Garga-samhita Verse 6.14.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 14 (The Glories of Ratnakara, Raivata, and Kacala) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

गौतमस्य सुतो धीमान्
मेधावी नाम वैश्णषः
विन्ध्याचले तपस् तेपे
वर्शानाम् अयुतं शतम्

gautamasya suto dhīmān
medhāvī nāma vaiśṇaṣaḥ
vindhyācale tapas tepe
varśānām ayutaṃ śatam

gautamasya—of Gautama Muni; sutaḥson; dhīmānintelligent; medhāvī Madhāvī; nāmanamed; vaiśṇaṣaḥ— adevotee of Lord Viṣṇu; vindhyācale—in the Vindyā mountains; tapaḥausterities; tepe—performed; varśānām—years; ayutam—ten thousand; śatam—a hundred.

English translation of verse 6.14.7:

There was a Vaiśṇṣva named Medhāvī, who was very intelligent and was the son of Gautama Muni. For one million years he performed austerities in the Vindyā mountains.
