प्रौश्ठ-पद्यां पूर्णिमायां
हेम-सिंह-समन्वितम्
ददाति यो भागवतं
स याति परमां गतिम्
prauśṭha-padyāṃ pūrṇimāyāṃ
hema-siṃha-samanvitam
dadāti yo bhāgavataṃ
sa yāti paramāṃ gatim
prauśṭha-padyām—in the month of Bhādra (August-September); pūrṇimāyām— on the full moon day; hema-siṃha-samanvitam—with a golden throne; dadāti— gives; yaḥ—who; bhāgavatam—Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam; sa—he; yāti—attains; paramām—the supreme; gatim—abode.
English translation of verse 6.13.9:
A person who on the full-moon day of the month of Bhādra (August-
September) gives a gift of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam resting on a golden throne attains the supreme destination.
