शण्खोद्धारः कृतो यस्मिन्
हरिणा मैथिलेश्वर
तस्मात् तीर्थं महा-पुण्यं
शण्खोद्धार-प्रथं गतम्
śaṇkhoddhāraḥ kṛto yasmin
hariṇā maithileśvara
tasmāt tīrthaṃ mahā-puṇyaṃ
śaṇkhoddhāra-prathaṃ gatam
śaṇkha—the conch; uddhāraḥ—deliverance; kṛtaḥ—done; yasmin—where; hariṇā—by Lord Kṛṣṇa; maithileśvara—O king of Mithilā; tasmāt—from that; tīrtham—holy plave; mahā-puṇyam—very sacred; śaṇkhoddhāra-pratham—named Śaṇkhoddhāra; gatam—gone.
English translation of verse 6.10.22:
O king of Mithilā, this very sacred place, where Lord Kṛṣṇa delivered a conch, is known as Śaṇkhoddhāra-tīrtha.
