The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 10 (In the Description of the Gomati River, the Glories of Cakra-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

चोरयाम् आस कक्शिवांस्
तस्य शिश्यो ऽति-लोभतः
पूजा-शण्खं गतं वीक्श्य
क्रुद्धः प्राह त्रितो मुनिः

corayām āsa kakśivāṃs
tasya śiśyo 'ti-lobhataḥ
pūjā-śaṇkhaṃ gataṃ vīkśya
kruddhaḥ prāha trito muniḥ

corayām āsa—stole; kakśivān—Kakśivān; tasya—his; śiśyaḥ—disciple; ati- lobhataḥ—out of greed; pūjā-śaṇkham—the conchshell used in the worship; gatam—gone; vīkśya—seeing; kruddhaḥ—angry; prāha—said; tritaḥTrita; muniḥthe sage.

English translation of verse 6.10.4:

Impelled by greed, the sage's disciple Kakśivān stole the conchshell. Seeing that the conchshell was missing, Trita Muni became angry and said:
