The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. गज-ग्राह-कथां पुण्यां
यः शृणोति समाहितः
दुः-स्वप्नं नश्यते तस्य
सु-स्वप्नं भवति ध्रुवम्
श्री-कृश्णष्य प्रसादेन
याति विश्षोः परं पदम्
gaja-grāha-kathāṃ puṇyāṃ
yaḥ śṛṇoti samāhitaḥ
duḥ-svapnaṃ naśyate tasya
su-svapnaṃ bhavati dhruvam
śrī-kṛśṇaṣya prasādena
yāti viśṣoḥ paraṃ padam
gaja—of the elephant; grāha—and the crocodile; kathām—story; puṇyām— sacred; yaḥ—one who; śṛṇoti—hears; samāhitaḥ—attentive; duḥ-svapnam— nightmares; naśyate—destroyed; tasya—of him; su-svapnam—pleasant dreams; bhavati—are; dhruvam—indeed; śrī-kṛśṇaṣya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; prasādena—by the mercy; yāti—attains; viśṣoḥ—of Lord Viṣṇu; param—the supreme; padam—abode.
English translation of verse 6.10.26:
A person who attentively hears this story of the elephant and the crocodile becomes free of bad dreams. All his dreams will be pleasant. By Lord Kṛṣṇa's mercy he will attain the transcendental abode of Lord Viṣṇu.
