The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.22, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 10 (In the Description of the Gomati River, the Glories of Cakra-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

ग्राहश् छिन्न-शिरा भूत्वा
पूर्व-रूपं दधार ह
श्री-कृश्णानुग्रषाद् धस्ती
दिव्य-रूपो बभूव सः

grāhaś chinna-śirā bhūtvā
pūrva-rūpaṃ dadhāra ha
śrī-kṛśṇānugraṣād dhastī
divya-rūpo babhūva saḥ

grāhaḥthe crocodile; chinnasevered; śirāhead; bhūtvā—becoming; pūrva- rūpam—his previous form; dadhāra—manifested; ha—indeed; śrī-kṛṣṇaof Śrī Kṛṣṇa; anugrahāt—by the mercy; hastīthe elephant; divya-rūpaḥa demigod form; babhūva—became; saḥ—he.

English translation of verse 6.10.22:

His head severed, the crocodile attained his original form of a demigod. By the mercy of Lord Kṛṣṇa, the elephant also attained the form of a demigod.
