ग्राहश् छिन्न-शिरा भूत्वा
पूर्व-रूपं दधार ह
श्री-कृश्णानुग्रषाद् धस्ती
दिव्य-रूपो बभूव सः
grāhaś chinna-śirā bhūtvā
pūrva-rūpaṃ dadhāra ha
śrī-kṛśṇānugraṣād dhastī
divya-rūpo babhūva saḥ
grāhaḥ—the crocodile; chinna—severed; śirā—head; bhūtvā—becoming; pūrva- rūpam—his previous form; dadhāra—manifested; ha—indeed; śrī-kṛṣṇa—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; anugrahāt—by the mercy; hastī—the elephant; divya-rūpaḥ—a demigod form; babhūva—became; saḥ—he.
English translation of verse 6.10.22:
His head severed, the crocodile attained his original form of a demigod. By the mercy of Lord Kṛṣṇa, the elephant also attained the form of a demigod.
