The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.19, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 10 (In the Description of the Gomati River, the Glories of Cakra-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

स्वयं खगात् समुत्तीर्य
धावंश् चक्रं समाक्शिपत्
चक्रे प्राप्ते पूर्वम् एव
ग्राहस्यापि शिरो ऽद्भुतम्

svayaṃ khagāt samuttīrya
dhāvaṃś cakraṃ samākśipat
cakre prāpte pūrvam eva
grāhasyāpi śiro 'dbhutam

svayam—personally; khagāt—from garuḍa; samuttīrya—descending; dhāvan— running; cakram—cakra; samākśipat—threw; cakre—the cakre; prāpte—attained; pūrvam—before; eva—indeed; grāhasya—of the crocodile; api—also; śiraḥ—the head; adbhutam—wonderful.

English translation of verse 6.10.19:

Descending from Garuḍa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead threw His cakra and wonderfully severed the crocodile's head.
