The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 10 (In the Description of the Gomati River, the Glories of Cakra-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

पार्श्वमौलिर् गजेन्द्रो ऽभूद्
रैवतस्य गिरेर् वने
चतुर्-दन्तः कज्जलाभः
पृश्ठ-प्रोच्चो धनुः-शतम्

pārśvamaulir gajendro 'bhūd
raivatasya girer vane
catur-dantaḥ kajjalābhaḥ
pṛśṭha-procco dhanuḥ-śatam

pārśvamauliḥPārśvamauli; gajendraḥthe king of elephants; abhūt——was; raivatasya—Rauivata; gireḥ—Mount; vane—in the forest; catur-dantaḥwith four tusks; kajjalābhaḥ—splendid as black kajjala; pṛśṭha-proccaḥ— dhanuḥ-śatam—a hundred dhanus tall.

English translation of verse 6.10.6:

Pārśvamauli became a regal elephant in the forest by Mount Raivata. He was a hundred dhanus tall.
