श्री-भगवान् उवाच
मद्-अर्चा-सम्युते यज्ञे
भवन्तौ दुःख-सम्युतौ
ब्राह्मणानां वचो ऽहं वै
दूरी-कर्तुं न च क्शमः
śrī-bhagavān uvāca
mad-arcā-samyute yajñe
bhavantau duḥkha-samyutau
brāhmaṇānāṃ vaco 'haṃ vai
dūrī-kartuṃ na ca kśamaḥ
śrī-bhagavān uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; mad-arcā- samyute—engaged in My worship; yajñe—in the yajna; bhavantau—you both; duḥkha-samyutau—unhappy; brāhmaṇānām—of the brāhmaṇas; vacaḥ—the words; aham—I; vai—indeed; dūrī-kartum—to throw far away; na—not; ca—and; kśamaḥ—am able.
English translation of verse 6.10.2:
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: You two worshiped Me in the yajña, but now you are unhappy. I have no power to negate the words of the brāhmaṇas.
