कुवेर-मन्त्रिणौ दीनौ
विप्र-शाप-विमोहितौ
तत्र साक्शात् स्वयं विश्षुः
प्राह तौ शरणं गतौ
kuvera-mantriṇau dīnau
vipra-śāpa-vimohitau
tatra sākśāt svayaṃ viśṣuḥ
prāha tau śaraṇaṃ gatau
kuvera-mantriṇau—the two ministers of Kuvera; dīnau—poor; vipra-śāpa- vimohitau—bewildered by the brāhmaṇa's curse; tatra—there; sākśāt—directly; svayam—personally; viśṣuḥ—to Lord Viṣṇu; prāha—said; tau—they; śaraṇam— shelter; gatau—gone.
English translation of verse 6.10.1:
Bewildered by the brāhmaṇa's curse, Kuvera's two unhappy ministers took shelter of Lord Viṣṇu.
