श्री-नारद उवाच
परुशं तद्-वचः श्रुत्वा
दुर्वासाः क्रोध-विग्रहः
भ्रू-भण्ग-कुटिली-भूते
रक्त-नेत्रे चकार ह
śrī-nārada uvāca
paruśaṃ tad-vacaḥ śrutvā
durvāsāḥ krodha-vigrahaḥ
bhrū-bhaṇga-kuṭilī-bhūte
rakta-netre cakāra ha
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; paruśam—harsh; tad-vacaḥ—their words; śrutvā—hearing; durvāsāḥ—Durvāsā; krodha-vigrahaḥ—filled with anger; bhrū- bhaṇga-kuṭilī-bhūte—knitting his eyebrows; rakta-netre—his eyes red; cakāra—did; ha—indeed.
English translation of verse 6.10.37:
Śrī Nārada said: When he heard these harsh words Durvāsā became filled with anger. His eyes were red and his eyebrows knitted with anger.
