रक्शायां वीरभद्रो ऽभूत्
सेवायां च गजाननः
तथा मरुद्-गणाः सर्वे
परिवेशण-कारिणः
rakśāyāṃ vīrabhadro 'bhūt
sevāyāṃ ca gajānanaḥ
tathā marud-gaṇāḥ sarve
pariveśaṇa-kāriṇaḥ
rakśāyām—in protection; vīrabhadraḥ—Vīrabhadra; abhūt—was there; sevāyām—in service; ca—and; gajānanaḥ—Gaṇeśa; tathā—so; marud-gaṇāḥ—the Maruts; sarve—all; pariveśaṇa-kāriṇaḥ—serving meals.
English translation of verse 6.10.21:
Vīrabhadra was there as a guard. Gaṇeśa was there to render service. All the Maruts were there to serve meals.
