The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 10 (In the Description of the Gomati River, the Glories of Cakra-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
गोमत्यां हि महा-नद्यां
चक्र-तीर्थं शुभार्थदम्
कथं जातं बहु-मतं
तन् मे ब्रूहि महा-मते

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
gomatyāṃ hi mahā-nadyāṃ
cakra-tīrthaṃ śubhārthadam
kathaṃ jātaṃ bahu-mataṃ
tan me brūhi mahā-mate

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; gomatyām—at Gomatī; hi—indeed; mahā-nadyām—the great river; cakra-tīrtham—Cakra-tīrtha; śubhārthadam—giving a great benefit; katham—how?; jātam—born; bahu-matamconsidered great; tan— that; me—to me; brūhi—please tell; mahā-mate—O noble-hearted one.

English translation of verse 6.10.15:

Śrī Bahulāśva said: O noble-hearted one, please tell me how Cakra-tīrtha by the great Gomatī river became so glorious and beneficial.
