The Garga-samhita Verse 6.9.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 9 (The Arrival of Shri Dvaraka) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

यद्-भयाद् वति वातो ऽयं
सूर्यस् तपति यद्-भयात्
यद्-भयाद् वर्शते देवो
मृत्युश् चरति यद्-भयात्

yad-bhayād vati vāto 'yaṃ
sūryas tapati yad-bhayāt
yad-bhayād varśate devo
mṛtyuś carati yad-bhayāt

yad-bhayāt—out of fear of whom; vatiblows; vātaḥthe wind; ayamhe; sūryaḥthe sun; tapatishines; yad-bhayāt—out of fear of whom; yad-bhayāt— out of fear of him; varśate—rains; devaḥ—Indra; mṛtyuḥ—death; caratimoves; yad-bhayāt—out of fear of whom.

English translation of verse 6.9.13:

Out of fear of Him the wind blows. Out of fear of Him the sun shines. Out of fear of Him Indra gives rain. Out of fear of Him death moves on the earth.
