उत्तानबर्हिशे पुर्वां
भूरिशेणाय दक्शिणाम्
पश्चिमां च दिशं सर्वां
आनर्ताय ददौ नृपः

uttānabarhiśe purvāṃ
bhūriśeṇāya dakśiṇām
paścimāṃ ca diśaṃ sarvāṃ
ānartāya dadau nṛpaḥ

uttānabarhiśe—to Uttanabarhi; purvām—the east; bhūriśeṇāya—to Bhurisena; dakśiṇām—the south; paścimām—the west; ca—and; diśam—direction; sarvām— all; ānartāya—to Anarta; dadau—gave; nṛpaḥ—the king.

English translation of verse 6.9.6:

To Uttānabarhi King Śaryāti gave the eastern part of his kingdom, to Bhūriśeṇa he gave the southern part, and to Anarta he gave the western part.
