शर्यातिर् नाम राजाभूच्
चक्रवर्ती मनोः सुतः
चकार राज्यं धर्मेण
वर्शानाम् अयुतं भुवि
śaryātir nāma rājābhūc
cakravartī manoḥ sutaḥ
cakāra rājyaṃ dharmeṇa
varśānām ayutaṃ bhuvi
śaryātiḥ—Saryati; nāma—named; rājā—a king; abhūt—was; cakravartī—the ruler; manoḥ—of Manu; sutaḥ—the son; cakāra—did; rājyam—kingdom; dharmeṇa—according to religious principles; varśānām—of years; ayutam—ten thousand; bhuvi—on the earth.

There was a king named Śaryāti who for ten thousand years ruled the earth according to religious principles.
