मत्स्योदरान् निर्गतो ऽसौ
भार्यया परिपालितः
ज्ञात्वा शत्रु-कृतां वार्तां
स कऋष्णी रूढ-यौवनः
matsyodarān nirgato 'sau
bhāryayā paripālitaḥ
jñātvā śatru-kṛtāṃ vārtāṃ
sa kaṛṣṇī rūḍha-yauvanaḥ
matsya—of the fish; udarāt—from the belly; nirgataḥ—gone; asau—he; bhāryayā—by his wife; paripālitaḥ—protected; jñātvā—understanding; śatru—by his enemy; kṛtām—done; vārtām—information; sa—he; kaṛṣṇī—the son of Lord Kṛṣṇa; rūḍha-yauvanaḥ—in full youth.
English translation of verse 6.8.25:
Taken from the fish's belly, and carefully protected by his wife, Pradyumna suddenly grew to become a young man. Then he understood what his enemy had done.
