The Garga-samhita Verse 6.8.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. तथा षोडश-साहस्रं
शतं च नृप-कन्यकाः
भौमं हत्वा तन्-निरोधाद्
आहृताश् चारु-दर्शनाः

tathā ṣoḍaśa-sāhasraṃ
śataṃ ca nṛpa-kanyakāḥ
bhaumaṃ hatvā tan-nirodhād
āhṛtāś cāru-darśanāḥ

tathā—then; ṣoḍaśa-sāhasraṃ śatam—16,100; ca—and; nṛpa-kanyakāḥ—princesses; bhaumam—Bhaumāsura; hatvā—killing; tan-nirodhāt—from his prison; āhṛtāś—taken; cāru-darśanāḥvery beautiful.

English translation of verse 6.8.20:

Then Lord Kṛṣṇa killed the demon Bhaumāsura and released from his prison

16,100 beautiful princesses.
