कृष्णेन निहतो भ्राता
मणिग्रीवो वनं गतः
नायातः स्व-सभा-मध्ये
इति सत्राजितो ऽब्रवीत्
kṛṣṇena nihato bhrātā
maṇigrīvo vanaṃ gataḥ
nāyātaḥ sva-sabhā-madhye
iti satrājito 'bravīt
kṛṣṇena—by Lord Kṛṣṇa; nihataḥ—killed; bhrātā—the brother; maṇigrīvaḥ—wearing the jewel on his neck; vanam—to the forest; gataḥ—gone; na—not; āyātaḥ—returned; sva-sabhā-madhye—in the assembly; iti—thus; satrājitaḥ—Satrajit; abravīt—said.
English translation of verse 6.8.6:
Satrājit said: When my brother, wearing the jewel around his neck, went to the forest, Kṛṣṇa killed him. That is why my brother has not returned to his people.
