हरेर् विवाहे सति रुक्मिई-पतेः
श्री-रुक्मिणी भूषित-रुक्म-मन्दिरा
पुरन्दरस्यापि यथामरवती
द्वारावती पुण्यवती तथा बभौ

harer vivāhe sati rukmiī-pateḥ
śrī-rukmiṇī bhūṣita-rukma-mandirā
purandarasyāpi yathāmaravatī
dvārāvatī puṇyavatī tathā babhau

hareḥof Lord Kṛṣṇa; vivāhe—the marriage; satibeing so; rukmiī-pateḥof the husband of Rukmiṇī; śrī-rukmiṇī—Śrī Rukmiṇī; bhūṣitadecorated; rukmaof gold; mandirāpalace; purandarasya—of King Indra; api—even; yathā—as; amarāvatīAmaravati; dvārāvatīDvārakā; puṇyavatī—sacred; tathā—so; babhau—was splendidly manifested.

English translation of verse 6.7.44:

On the day of Lord Kṛṣṇa's marriage to Rukmiṇī, the sacred city of Dvārakā, which is decoraqted with many golden palaces, was glorious like King Indra's city of Amarāvatī.
