परिघाभिहतो रुक्मी
किञ्चिद्-व्याकुल-मानसः
भर्त्सयन् माधवं ह्य् आजौ
जग्राह खड्ग-चर्मणी

parighābhihato rukmī
kiñcid-vyākula-mānasaḥ
bhartsayan mādhavaṃ hy ājau
jagrāha khaḍga-carmaṇī

English translation of verse 6.7.23:

Hit by the parigha, Rukmī became agitated at heart. Hurling insults at Lord Kṛṣṇa, he took up his sword and shield.
