हरिर् एकेन बानेण
शिञ्जिनी-सहितं धनुः
चिच्छेद रुक्मिणः सद्यो
ज्ञानेनेवागुणामयम्
harir ekena bāneṇa
śiñjinī-sahitaṃ dhanuḥ
ciccheda rukmiṇaḥ sadyo
jñānenevāguṇāmayam
hariḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇa; ekena—with a single; bāneṇa—arrow; śiñjinī-sahitam—with the bowstring; dhanuḥ—the bow; ciccheda—cut; rukmiṇaḥ—of Rukmi; sadyaḥ—at once; jñānena—with knowledge; iva—like; aguṇāmayam—what has no virtue.
English translation of verse 6.7.15:
Then with a single arrow Lord Kṛṣṇa cut Rukmī's bow and bowstring in two as with knowledge one cuts the darkness of repeated birth and death.
