The Garga-samhita Verse 6.7.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 7 (The Marriage of Shri Rukmini) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

सन्तोडितो ऽपि भगवान्
धनुर्-ज्यां तस्य नादिनीम्
चिच्छेद सायकेनाशु
गरुडः पन्नगीं यथा

santoḍito 'pi bhagavān
dhanur-jyāṃ tasya nādinīm
ciccheda sāyakenāśu
garuḍaḥ pannagīṃ yathā

santoḍitaḥ—hit; api—even though; bhagavānthe Supreme Personality of Godhead; dhanur-jyām—the bowstring; tasya—of him; nādinīm—sounding; ciccheda—cut; sāyakena—with an arrow; āśu—at once; garuḍaḥGaruḍa; pannagīm—a snake; yathā—as.

English translation of verse 6.7.13:

Although wounded by the arrow, Lord Kṛṣṇa at once shot an arrow that cut Rukmī's twanging bowstring as Garuḍa cuts a great snake.
