ययाति-शाप-सम्भ्रष्टो
गोपालोच्छिष्ट-भुग् भवान्
जरासन्ध-भयाद् भीतो
यवनाग्रात् पलायितः
yayāti-śāpa-sambhraṣṭo
gopālocchiṣṭa-bhug bhavān
jarāsandha-bhayād bhīto
yavanāgrāt palāyitaḥ
yayāti—of King Yayati; śāpa—by the curse; sambhraṣṭaḥ—ruined; gopāla—of cowherd people; ucchiṣṭa—the remnants; bhuk—eating; bhavān—You; jarāsandha-bhayāt—out of fear of Jarasandha; bhītaḥ—frightened; yavana—of a yavana; agrāt—from the presence; palāyitaḥ—fled.
English translation of verse 6.7.11:
Cursed by King Yayāti, You were forced to eat the remnants of food left by cowherd people. You were terrified of Jarāsandha. You fled from the king of the Yavanas.
