भो भोः पुरुष-शार्दूल
दौर्मनस्यम् इदं त्यज
किम् एकेन विवाहेन
भविता ते शतं भुवि
bho bhoḥ puruṣa-śārdūla
daurmanasyam idaṃ tyaja
kim ekena vivāhena
bhavitā te śataṃ bhuvi
bhaḥ—O; bhoḥ—O; puruṣa-śārdūla—tiger among men; daurmanasyam—despondentcy; idam—this; tyaja—abandon; kim—what is the need?; ekena—with one; vivāhena—marriage; bhavitā—will be; te—of you; śatam—a hundred; bhuvi—on this earth.
English translation of verse 6.6.45:
O tiger among men, don't be unhappy. How important is this one marriage?
You will marry a hundred times in this world.
